    A campaign to keep a Banksy artwork in Dover will be launched today by the town's MP.

    The artwork appeared on a wall of the old Castle Amusements building last month.

    The owners of the building said they were working alongside a specialist art gallery in London to decide its future, but Conservative MP Charlie Elphicke says Dover is the Banksy's rightful home.

    Kent Police officers are currently dealing with a serious collision involving a car and a bicycle on Station Road in Chartham, near Canterbury.The incident was reported at 07.46 BST this morning.

    A road closure, currently in place between the junctions for The Green and Church Lane, is expected to remain in place for several hours.

    Breaking

    Kent Police, Highways England and other emergency services are dealing with a serious collision between a van and motorcycle on the M2 motorway between junctions 6 and 7 at Faversham. The coast-bound carriageway is expected to remain closed for the next few hours while emergency services deal with the incident, causing lengthy delays.

    Motorists are being advised to avoid the area if possible.
