Yesterday's snap election call caught many by off guard, so it's no surprise that a few things will have to get sorted quickly.

Elton John is on tour and 8 June, the day of the election, he's in Leeds at the arena on his Wonderful Crazy Tour.

That's a bit awkward, do you ask him to move?

Perhaps Leeds City Council could offer him a spot on Briggate to busk the gig?

Well they've done the bigger thing and decided to move the count to the Civic Hall and the Town Hall.

    Crisis averted.

A lottery player in South Yorkshire has just one week to avoid missing out on almost £200,000.

The ticket, which was bought in Doncaster for the EuroMillions draw on 28 October last year, matched five numbers and a star.

That's worth £197,954 - but if not claimed by the end of Wednesday 26 April, the money will go to National Lottery funded projects rather than the person who bought the ticket.

That ticket holder isn't the only one who could do with coming forward.

There's a £1m prize also up for grabs - again in South Yorkshire.

    Lottery

If you bought a EuroMillions ticket in Barnsley for the draw on 31 January this year then you may want to check your pockets.

There's a winning ticket worth a cool £1m still out there.

The details for both draws are here, external - and hopefully you'll be celebrating like in the shot below.
