    There's celebrations for both Sheffield clubs this morning as their managers and players are April award winners.

    Firstly, Sheffield Wednesday, who's head coach Carlos Carvalhal has been named the Championship's Manager of the Month with Steven Fletcher taking the PFA Player of the Month award.

    The red and white side of the steel city is also celebrating as Sheffield United's boss Chris Wilder has been named League One Manager of the Month, with Blades striker Leon Clarke being awarded the Player of the Month award for April.

    This years Sunday Times Rich List, external reveals that combined wealth of the 20 richest people in Yorkshire has risen by £403m since last year.

    The only person to lose money on the list is Philip Meeson the owner of Jet2, who is reportedly worth £296m.

    His fortunes have seen a drop of £90m in the last year, which the paper says is "due to Brexit". Meeson, 69, is the 10th richest in Yorkshire. 

    The most rich person in Yorkshire is Robert Miller, who has a bank account with £1.58bn in it.

    Fans at Bradford City's League One play-off semi-final first leg against Fleetwood, have been praised for their good behaviour by West Yorkshire Police.

    The man in charge of policing the game, Superintendent Daniel Greenwood, said he wanted to specifically thank fans.

    He said the match atmosphere was lively, but added, "the vast majority of people conducted themselves impeccably, allowing supporters to enjoy the football."

    Supt Greenwood said he wished both sides the best of luck in the second leg on Sunday, but then revealed his allegience when he added, "I hope Bradford City can do West Yorkshire proud by reaching the final."

    The Labour Party has held the Southey ward seat on Sheffield City Council following a by-election.

    Mike Chaplin was the party's man on the ballot paper after the resignation of Leigh Bramall in March.

    The Lib Dems finished second, with UKIP in third.

    The man in charge of the Piece Hall restoration in Halifax says the future of the building is "the future of the town."

    The works are due to be completed by August, after a number of delays.

    Yorkshire's richest people have been revealed in this year's The Sunday Times Rich List.

    Topping the list is 84-year-old Robert Miller who's worth £1.58bn. He co-founded the Hong Kong-based Duty Free Shoppers chain. 

    He owns a fair chunk of North Yorkshire in the shape of the 36,000-acre Gunnerside Estate, which is one of the largest sporting estates in the country.  

    His daughter Marie-Chantal, 48, is the crown princess of Greece. The full list is published this weekend.

    North Yorkshire begin counting this morning while Doncaster will commence counting after lunch.

    'Why the delay in Doncaster?' I hear you ask.

    That's because they have been counting overnight for their directly-elected mayor.
