Ben, from Sheffield, was 21 months old when he disappeared on the Greek island of Kos in 1991.

South Yorkshire Police say officers "will not be utilising" images created by researchers at Bradford University using a technique they believe is more accurate than that used by police.

Det Insp Jon Cousins adds that he still believes Ben died in a "tragic incident" while on Kos.

    Quote Message

It is still my professional belief that Ben died as a result of a tragic incident at the farmhouse involving heavy machinery on that day. We will continue to support Ben’s family and the Greek authorities with any future valid information which may come to light."

Members of Richmondshire District Council have agreed to recommend to full council that the authority should not redeploy cameras in Richmond's market place.

The cameras were decommissioned after 14 years when the district council, Richmond Town Council and local businesses decided they could not afford to continue to run and monitor them.
