Double Paralympic champion Kadeena Cox says two of her medals which were stolen have been returned.
The 26-year-old from Leeds had left them in her car while filming in London earlier this month when they were stolen.
Ms Cox claimed gold in the T37 women's 100m and T35-38 4x100m relay at the 2015 World Championships in Doha.
Earlier she tweeted: "Thank you so much to every single person that shared and retweeted my post...My medals got handed in to the police this morning #happykad".
When the fan tweeted that he was "retiring his faded and cracked mug", the German club took action.

If you wander around York and look upwards you might see some black cats which decorate several of the city's buildings - although you may need a helicopter to see those on rooftops.
Some of the cats go back to the 19th century, but many were installed by late architect Tom Adams who used to add one to each building he worked on.
Now, they're going to be added to a new digital archive of every piece of public sculpture in Britain.
Next time you're in the city, check out one on a building on The Mount, Gillygate, and Ouse Bridge.
Tom Adams was a real character. I wonder what he'd say about his work being digitally archived?
Multi-million pound improvements to public transport in Leeds are expected to get the green light later.
Under Leeds City Council's plans, most buses would run every 10 minutes, and three new railway stations would be built - including one near Leeds Bradford Airport.
If approved, the next step will be working out more detailed plans.
Ray Wilkes, from West Yorkshire Campaign for Better Transport, says taking more cars off the city's roads is essential:

Here's today's amusing - but total waste of time for the police - call to 999 in West Yorkshire.
Maybe the person had a point, but still, call the emergency number?:

The force warns that while the vast majority of children surf the web without incident, they are still at risk.
Det Insp Steve Leach, head of cyber crime at South Yorkshire Police, says: "Getting to know what youngsters are viewing, restricting what they can access and just having a quick chat about what they're doing and what sites they’re visiting can be enough to prevent your child from becoming a victim."

Plans to convert a bridleway near Scarborough will attract speeding road bikes and put the path's other users at risk, according to local residents who oppose the proposals.
Sustainable transport charity Sustrans wants to take over the cinder track between Scarborough and Whitby in a bid to make it more cycle-friendly.
But Heather Dale, who lives in Robin Hood's Bay, says she and other local residents fear it will cause problems for walkers and cyclists.
"The proposals by Sustrans are to put a hard sealed surface down and to widen it. Where they've done that elsewhere, it's become attractive to road bikes which travel at speed," she says.
"Instead of making it more accessible to different groups, the safety issues for other users will be significant."
Responding, Sustrans spokesperson Rosslyn Colderley has said cyclists are "absolutely discouraged" from going too fast on all their paths and that the path should be "shared with care".
