    The perfume was stolen at around 11:00 on Saturday 29 July.

    The figure has emerged from the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust's most recent accounts.

    Police have released CCTV footage of people they want to speak to after a traffic barrier was damaged in Scarborough:

    It happened on 25 June at the Town Hall on St Nicholas Street and caused extensive damage to the barrier and the electric motor inside the housing.

  4. Children's inflatable art installation seeks new homespublished at 13:48 British Summer Time 2 August 2017

    A new inflatable art installation, which has been unveiled by Martin House Hospice, near Wetherby, is looking for places to visit.

    It was revealed yesterday at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

    Ideally they team want it to visit community events, which have an indoor space where they can put it up.

    The Butterfly and The Bird (pictured) also includes animation and is designed to be an interactive and multi-use space.

    It includes the work of around 300 children from West, North and East Yorkshire.

  7. Yorkshire power station demolition moves closerpublished at 13:04 British Summer Time 2 August 2017

    The demolition of a north Yorkshire power station has moved a step closer.

    Plans to flatten the Eggborough plant near Selby have now been submitted to the council.

    They suggest the station will stop generating electricity in late 2019 at the latest, with the partial decommissioning and demolition of the site taking place as early as spring next year.

    The plant has been threatened with closure for a number of years, with the loss of more than 200 jobs.

    A third man who was hurt when a crane collapsed in Crewe has died, external, more than a month after the incident happened, police say.

    Two building workers, David Newall, who was 36, from Bradford, and 18-year-old Rhys Barker, from Castleford, West Yorkshire, had already been named as having been killed when the collapse happened on 21 June on Dunwoody Way.

    Today, Cheshire Police said David Webb (pictured), who was 43, and originally from Northampton but living in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, had died from the injuries he suffered.

    His family have described him as a "fun loving character who lived his life to the full".

    Cheshire Police say their investigation, alongside the Health and Safety Executive, the local authority and building control, is still ongoing.

    The parents of former British soldier from Leeds who's being held in Turkey on a terror charge have told the BBC they are "devastated".

    Joe Robinson, 24, was on holiday with his finance Mira Rojkan when he was arrested in the Turkish beach town of Didim.

    He is accused of "being a member of a terrorist organisation" but his mother - Sharon Robinson - told the BBC "He's just a boy. He's not a terrorist. That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my life."

    His father Andrew Robinson said: "When I heard that he'd been arrested on terrorist charges, I was devastated. I didn't realise what the situation was like in Turkey. We're just hoping that somebody is going to come through and help us."

    He could be imprisoned for at least three months in Turkey before facing the court, his lawyer told the BBC.

    Forensic teams are working on Greenfield Road in Hoyland investigating the death of a man in his 50s.

    The man, named by relatives as Martin Richardson, was found lying in the street at 05:05 this morning.

    Officers are currently treating his death as unexplained.

    The company which publishes The Yorkshire Post, the Sheffield Star and Doncaster Free Press, has reported a 30.9% drop in half-year adjusted pretax profit.

    Johnston Press says trading conditions for regional newspapers in the UK continue to be difficult, especially in classified advertising.

    But the company, which also publishes the "i", The Scotsman and the Sunderland Echo, said the monetisation of its digital audience continued to gain momentum.

    In the 26 weeks to July adjusted pretax profit fell to £6.7m from £9.7m a year earlier. Total revenue fell 3.1% to £102.9m.

    Police in Doncaster are looking for a man suspected of carrying out several burglaries in the town.

    Ian Hawkins, who's originally from Leeds, is believed to have carried out thefts in the Bentley area at the end of July.

    Police say a 54-year-old man from Harrogate has died after crashing his car, a black Mazda MX-5, into a telegraph pole near Knaresborough.

    It happened on the A6055 between Minskip and Ferrensby at 18:00 last night.

    Paramedics treated the man at the scene and he was taken by air ambulance to Harrogate District Hospital, where he later died.

    Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision.

    Two men charged with murder after a man was stabbed to death are to face a retrial after a jury failed to reach a verdict.

    Darren Moorhouse, 49, died after being attacked at Athol Close, Halifax, in January.

    Bradford Crown Court heard Dale Dwyer, 26, was responsible for the fatal stabbing but he and Christopher Churchill, 34, denied a murder charge.

    Both men were remanded back into custody on Tuesday until the retrial.

    His body was found near a car on Greenfield Road at 05:05.

    A Doncaster man who got a tattoo of Conservative MP Jacob Rees-Mogg says he did it "for a chuckle".

    Ross Atkinson, who is an activist for the party and fan of the MP for North East Somerset paid £50 to have "Moggmentum" inked on his chest.

    In response, Jacob Rees-Mogg has said that he was "gigantically flattered" by the gesture.

    The politician has invited Ross Atkinson down to Parliament for a cup of tea.
