Their investigation is focused around the Bridge Street area, which the woman walked through after leaving a city nightclub.

All three men are believed to have been in the city centre between 12:30 and 01:00 on 13 July at bars on Bridge Street and Rougier Street .

One member of the group may have accompanied the woman to a taxi, police say.

Det Insp Mark Pearson, leading the investigation, said: "These are clear CCTV images and I’d urge anyone who recognises any of the men, including the individuals themselves, to get in touch."

Her body was dumped in a brook in nearby woodland and her killer has never been found.

The man behind the construction of a 32ft-high "castle" folly at a tourist attraction in North Yorkshire says he knew he was breaking planning rules when he built it.

Colin Armstrong created the decorative structure at the Forbidden Corner, near Leyburn, but has been told it must be torn down because he doesn't have planning permission.

Mr Armstrong says he knew the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority would never have approved the plans so he just went ahead with them anyway:

  10. Environment Secretary criticises Sheffield tree-felling programmepublished at 09:09 British Summer Time 10 August 2017

    Kevin Larkin
    BBC Local Live, Yorkshire

Environment Secretary Michael Gove has criticised Sheffield Council's tree-felling programme.

    Michael Gove

In a letter to Sheffield Council leader, Julie Dore, Mr Gove says he has "such grave concern" about the policy.

Michael Gove says the issue had been raised with him directly by people on a visit to Yorkshire recently.

    Quote Message

I would call on the council to listen to the people of Sheffield and end [the] tree-felling and replacement programme."

    Michael Gove, Environment Secretary

  13. Channel 4 move to Yorkshire would have 'limited benefit'published at 08:23 British Summer Time 10 August 2017

A report says moving Channel 4's HQ to Yorkshire would only create a "limited" number of jobs in the area.

    Channel 4Image source, PA

The government wants to relocate the broadcaster - and both Leeds and Sheffield have expressed interest in becoming its new home.

Last week the boss of creative industries champion Screen Yorkshire said the broadcaster should come to Leeds.

But the think tank Centre for Cities says the BBC's similar move to Salford didn't create many economic benefits:

    Quote Message

It's increased the jobs in Greater Manchester by 0.3%. The benefits will be local and limited."

    Simon Jeffrey, Centre for Cities

  14. Morrisons will not adopt 'fake-farm food' brandspublished at 08:11 British Summer Time 10 August 2017

Supermarket group Morrisons has pledged not to sell own-label "fake-farm" food.

    Morrisons storeImage source, Morrisons

It defines this as brands that can give a misleading impression that food comes from a British farm, market or farming town which may not even exist.

It said a meat brand it had created called Hemsley was a play on the name of a North Yorkshire farming town.

The National Farmers' Union (NFU) is unhappy about fake-brands, particularly when it implies the food is British.

A number of big supermarkets, including Morrisons, have come under fire for using farm-like labels for some of their produce.

The Hemsley brand, which Morrisons dropped last year, had been fiercely criticised by the NFU.

  17. At the scene: Firefighters damp down after major blaze in Bradfordpublished at 07:25 British Summer Time 10 August 2017

    Ronan Sully
    Reporter, BBC Radio Leeds

I'm currently on Chase Way in Bradford, on the Eurocam Technology Park in West Bowling.

    Aftermath of fire

A fire's been raging here overnight at Gordon Rhodes and Son, an ingredients and spice warehouse.

The metal of the warehouse has been twisted into all sorts of shapes - demolished, really, by the fire overnight.

Grey smoke still billows into the sky, and it can be seen all the way from the junction of the M62 and the M606.

I've spoken to West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service who say the fire is now under control, but at its height 17 pumps were involved in tackling the blaze.

There are now just six units still on site, but they could be here for the rest of the day trying to damp it down.

The owner of the premises has here this morning but has now left. Meanwhile some workers have been arriving - not aware of the situation and left in complete shock.

  18. Youngsters caught on camera sitting on Doncaster level crossingpublished at 07:13 British Summer Time 10 August 2017

A level crossing has been temporarily closed in Rossington, near Doncaster, after images were captured of young people sitting in the middle of it as well as lying down on it.

    CrossingImage source, Network Rail

Network Rail says it will now visit schools in the area to talk about safety and the crossing will remain closed until 8 October.

Photographs show two young people sitting down in the middle of Penny's level crossing, another with someone lying down. One showed two people riding their bikes on the crossing.

    Network railImage source, Network Rail

It lies on the East Coast Main Line and sees almost 200 trains a day pass over it, which can travel at speeds of up to 125mph.

Network Rail say while the crossing is closed, they will visit schools and colleges in the area to educate young people about how to use level crossings safely and how vital it is that they follow all safety measures in place.

  19. Decision still awaited over last step to fracking in North Yorkshirepublished at 06:58 British Summer Time 10 August 2017

Planners have still to make a decision over the route lorries will take to and from a fracking site in North Yorkshire.

Kirby Misperton fracking siteImage source, PA

It's one of the last key steps to be agreed before drilling can begin at Kirby Misperton, near Pickering.

Before that, North Yorkshire County Council and Third Energy have to agree what's called a traffic management plan.

This sets out, among other things, the route lorries can use to and from the well site - one from the A169 and through the village has been identified.

A decision was expected last month, but that deadline passed after opponents claimed lorries could also use alternative routes.

Third Energy says this would only be at the request of police if there were protests.
