    A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a 31-year-old man in the Firth Park area of Sheffield over the weekend.

    The 31-year-old had suffered stab wounds and was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.

    Police were called at around midnight on Sunday, 10 September to reports of a man who had been seriously injured on the Wensley Estate in Firth Park.

    Police are appealing for witnesses.

    There are concerns about the future of hundreds of allotment plots in York because of plans to hand them over to a charitable trust.

    The idea is being debated by councillors later.

    The trust would be run by a team of expert gardeners , Adam Myers is one of the would be trustees.

    We've been telling you this morning about the problems on the rails because of engineering works over-running.

    Lines have reopened between Doncaster and Sheffield now though, with delays on some services to London King's Cross as everything gets back to normal.

    There are problems on the trains between Stalybridge and Huddersfield this morning because of flooding due to heavy rain.

    Transpennine Express says services are suspended at the moment

    This means that trains between these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 20 minutes. Disruption is expected until 12:00.

    Services affected are Northern between Wigan Wallgate,Preston, Blackpool North and Huddersfield

    TransPennine Express between Manchester Piccadilly and Hull, between Manchester Airport and Middlesbrough and York and also between Liverpool Lime Street and Scarborough and Newcastle.

    How would you feel about buying your milk from a vending machine?

    You'll have read or heard about the tough times dairy farmers have had over the last few years.

    For one farm in Elvington just outside of York they've decided to do something about it.

    They've launched this.

    It's a "milkbot" which is a vending machine where villagers can buy their milk direct from the farmers.

    Greyleys Jerseys started in 1876 and now it is run by the fifth generation of the family.

    Helen Stanier from the farm says lots of people had been asking how they could get hold of their milk so they decided to introduce the vending machine in the village.

    There's been a lot of heavy rain overnight and the showers are continuing which is making driving conditions across the region challenging.

    One lane is closed and very slow traffic due to broken down vehicle on M62 Eastbound at J24 A629 (Ainley Top).

    Slow traffic on A629 Huddersfield Road Northbound at A646 Dryclough Lane / Haigh Lane in the roadworks.

    Traffic heavier than normal on A638 York Road between A635 Barnsley Road (The Sun Traffic Lights) and A19 Bentley Road (St Mary's Roundabout).

    Both directions, Shipton , North Yorkshire. Slow traffic due to accident on East Lane in both directions at Mucky Lane / Corban Lane.

    Philip Slater was found dead at a house in Silsden on Thursday.

    Alistair Throup aged 47, Oakland Street, Keighley, is due to appear before magistrates in Bradford later.

    There's been a rise in the number of children excluded from schools in Sheffield, particularly primary academy schools.

    A report from the council says it's concerned about the number of school days lost due to fixed-term exclusions of anything up to up to five days.

    Villagers in Naburn will be able to use a limited free bus service from today.

    They've been without a service since coach company Utopia went bust.

    It comes as the City of York Council also starts a limited service through the village, covering the morning and evening rush hours.
