Pastor John Wilson, 70 of Shann Avenue in Keighley was based at the Liberty Pentecostal Church and sexually assaulted women over a period of more than two decades.

His wife Mary was given a 22 month suspended sentence after the court heard she had held down one of the victims as her husband indecently assaulted her.

Both had denied the charges but were found guilty after a six-week trial and will now have to register as sex offenders.

Believe it or not this is a cross section of a heart of a baby in the womb at just 18 weeks old, it was taken by researchers at the University of Leeds.

    HeartImage source, University of Leeds

Currently doctors can only monitor a feotus' heart at 20 weeks, missing a vital period when the heart is formed, but now using new imaging techniques that could change.

Their study showed that in just a the four-day period the muscle tissue of the heart rapidly organise, the helix shape of the heart is formed meaning the chambers can form.

If this doesn't occur, the heart can't survive outside the womb, one in 10 miscarriages is believed to be caused by a heart that hasn't formed properly.

    Quote Message

We now have a map that we can use to interpret problems during development and look at ways of trying to resolve those problems.”
