A little earlier we brought you news that the family of a man from Morley were very concerned for his welfare after he was reported missing.

Police have now said Danny Love has been found safe and well and thank members of the public for their assistance.

The venue decided to sell the dancefloor after it was ripped out and replaced during renovation work.

South Yorkshire Police are appealing to find the owners of costume jewellery found during a house search in Balby.

Among the haul is a silver charm bracelet, silver style Rolex, silver and black Tag Heuer watch and a black and silver University of Sheffield USB stick.

Officers believe the items may have been stolen during a recent robbery in Doncaster over which a 39-year-old man has been arrested.

If you recognise any of the items above, Police are urging you to call 101.

A man has been shot in Bradford.

The victim is thought to have suffered non life-threatening injuries in the attack which happened in the Undercliffe area this afternoon.

Emergency services are at the scene and an investigation is underway.

The cloud will thicken this evening with a spell of rain overnight and strengthening winds. The rain will clear eastwards alter leaving clear spells. A minimum temperature of 9C.

Good news if you're a Huddersfield Town fan, striker Steve Mounie will be in the squad for tomorrow's home tie against Manchester United.

Head Coach David Wagner confirmed that the 23-year-old forward could feature at some point following a four week absence through injury.

Mounie played an integral role in Town's excellent start to life in the top division, scoring twice on his debut for the club on the opening day.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue have tweeted to say they're training with using ropes to rescue people .

The training exercise involves a simulated medical emergency at height, such as a crane driver being unable to get back down to ground level unaided.

The specialist rope rescue teams have to put systems in place to rescue the casualty.

A 20-year-old motorcyclist who died in a collision last Friday near Skipton Castle junction has been named as Edward Brier from Lancashire.

The crash happened at around 19:24 on Friday 13 October 2017 and involved a blue Suzuki motorcycle that was heading along the A65 from Harrogate towards Skipton, and a blue Jeep Cherokee that was turning right onto the A65 towards Harrogate from the A6131 junction.

North Yorkshire Police continue their appeal for witnesses.

Edward Brier's family said they will continue to remember him for his love of the great outdoors, the pleasure he took in riding his motorbike and for his caring personality.

A teenage singer left traumatised after she was caught up in the Manchester Arena bombing earlier this year has performed on stage for the first time since the attack.

Earlier this week, Carys Crow, from Otley, took to the stage at the Wardrobe in Leeds - supporting 60s soul singer PP Arnold.

Twenty-two people were killed in the attack when Salman Abedi detonated a suicide bomb after an Ariana Grande show on 22 May.

Well the University of Leeds has been awarded nearly £800,000 by the National Lottery Fund to find out exactly that!

It's part of a study into English dialects and how they've progressed down the generations in the last 40 years.

The University is searching for people who took part in the original survey between 1946-1978, when more than 300 ways in which we speak were studied.

Plans to demolish an almost 100-year-old seafront theatre have been approved.

Scarborough Borough Council planners voted in favour of plans to spend £4m on demolishing the Futurist.

The theatre opened in 1921 and hosted an array of famous artists, including The Beatles, before closing in 2014.

Campaigners had hoped to run it as a charitable trust but the council has judged it is not sustainable as a theatrical venue.

Flamingo Land, which is a large visitor attraction in Malton, North Yorkshire, has already expressed interest in developing a new year-round tourist attraction on the site.

Leeds born boxer Josh Warrington says tomorrow's fight against Denmark's Dennis Ceylan will be the biggest fight of his life.

The 26-year-old faces arguably his toughest opposition to date in the form of the undefeated, 5ft 9, Dane.

Warrington himself is undefeated in 25 fights, with 4 of those coming as knock outs.

The fight will take place at the Leeds First Direct Arena, with the winner becoming the mandatory challenger to face Lee Selby for the IBF world featherweight title.
