A councillor in Calderdale won't face a council investigation after he was suspended by his own party for sharing an article which called Muslims "parasites" on social media.
Calderdale councillor Mike Payne shared an article in 2013 which had the headline "France slashes benefits to Muslim parasites by 83%".
He says he didn't say anything racist and was criticising the then-French government's policy.
Yesterday the Conservatives suspended the Sowerby Bridge councillor pending an investigation.
However - Calderdale Council says it can't investigate the matter as he wasn't a councillor at the time and he'll continue in his role as an Independent Conservative.
Congratulations to Leeds' Nile Wilson, who is one of the first of England's Commonwealth Games team to win a gold medal.
Wilson is part of the men's gymnastics team, who've just tweeted this triumphant picture:

England have won their first gold medal of the Commonwealth Games in Australia thanks - in part - to Leeds gymnast Nile Wilson.
Wilson is part of the men's gymnastics team, who scored a total of 258.950, leaving them more than 10 points clear of Canada.
His team-mate Max Whitlock led them to victory, top-scoring with his floor and pommel routines to clinch the win alongside team-mates Courtney Tulloch, James Hall and Dominick Cunningham.

Read MoreA body created to overhaul transport in northern England is to meet for the first time as it takes up new powers.
Transport for the North (TfN) will hold its first board meeting in Liverpool with Transport Minister Jo Johnson.
TfN will advise the government on transport strategy and enact a 30-year road and railway upgrade scheme unveiled in January.
TfN has identified seven "corridors of opportunity" where the movement of people and goods across the region could be improved.
This includes the route from the port of Liverpool to the Humber ports via Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Sheffield, and between non-carbon energy and research centres in Cumbria, north Lancashire, North Yorkshire and the North East.
The strategy also outlines more detail on the vision for Northern Powerhouse Rail.
It features a new line between Liverpool and the HS2 Manchester spur via Warrington, increased capacity at Manchester Piccadilly and a new link connecting Manchester and Leeds via Bradford.
Work to repair a landslip on the Leeds to Ilkley railway line is continuing this morning.
Trains are being diverted, which means passengers on the route need to change at Shipley.
Network Rail says it will be clearing away the debris and securing the embankment over the next few days.
Toby Higgins is from Network Rail and he says it's a difficult job for engineers.
