Sands United aims to build on the success of a similar project in Northamptonshire by entering a team in the Doncaster Sunday League next season.

Police are appealing for information after a car hit with a young girl in Skelton.
It happened on Byland Road last Thursday at 18:00 when a white Volkswagen Polo hit the young girl.
As a result of the collision the girl suffered a broken leg.

A woman who had to learn to read again after having a brain tumour has published her own book.
Sue Jones, from Woodseats, Sheffield, found out she had a tumour in September 2014.
She had surgery to remove it three days later.

A former monk has been charged with 23 historical child sex offences.
Peter Turner, previously known as Father Gregory Carroll, is accused of assaulting two altar boys in Cumbria and a male pupil in North Yorkshire.
The 79-year-old, from Redcar, faces charges of gross indecency, indecent assault and a serious sexual assault between 1984 and 1990.
Mr Turner is due to appear at Scarborough Magistrates' Court on 8 April.
North Yorkshire Police said 15 of the alleged offences occurred at Ampleforth College between 1984 and 1987.
Eight charges of indecent assault and gross indecency relate to two boys at a parish church in the Workington area and are said to have taken place between 1987 and 1990.
Ampleforth College is a Catholic boarding and day school for 11 to 18 year olds.
A refurbished market in Doncaster has reopened today following a £7.5m revamp.
The Wool Market work has been taking place since early 2018.

A main South Yorkshire road is closed because of a serious crash, police say.
The A57 near the Red Lion at Todwick is closed in both directions.
South Yorkshire Police say the road will be closed "for some time".
The filmmaker says people are still grieving 40 years after the crash which killed 33.

A new report, by Public Health England, report shows 18 out of every 1,000 people in the city aged between 15 and 64 take the drugs.
Use is particularly high among middle-aged people, the report said.
"Aggressive marketing" by drug dealers who send out targeted text messages and give free samples could be one of the reasons for the national rise, Public Health England said.
Motorists in East Yorkshire will soon benefit from quicker journey times after confirmation of work to stop a bottleneck.
The £3.9m scheme to improve traffic flow at the Shiptonthorpe roundabout in East Yorkshire will start on Monday 8 April.
The East Riding Council says the four-way roundabout on the A1079 is a bottleneck at peak times.
The improvement works, which will convert the roundabout into five lanes, will last until Christmas.
Officials say free-flowing single-lane traffic will be maintained between 06:30 and 19:00.
