    A man from West Yorkshire has been charged with 14 terror offences following an investigation into suspected left-wing terrorism, Counter Terrorism Policing North East has said.

    Dominic Noble, 32, of Hall Cross Grove, Huddersfield, has been charged with 13 offences of the possession of documents likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

    He's also been charged with one offence of viewing or accessing a document likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

    He's due to appear before Leeds Magistrates' Court later today, according to Counter Terrorism Policing North East.

    Armed police have arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder in Hull.

    Officers were called to Newland Court in the early hours of Sunday morning after a man was stabbed in the arm and back.

    He's currently being treated for his injuries.

    Ch Supt Christine Wilson said: "Specialist officers, including armed officers and police negotiators located and arrested the man after he initially refused to leave the house."

    Anyone who saw what happened, or who has information about the incident, is being asked to contact police.

  3. Tribute to 'beautiful' mum found fatally hurt in Doncasterpublished at 08:00 British Summer Time 8 June 2020

    A woman who was found fatally injured at a house in Doncaster last week has been named by police.

    Amy-Leanne Stringfellow, 26, was found at the property in Dryden Road, Balby, at about 23:30 on Friday and died shortly afterwards.

    Terence Papworth, 45, formerly of Dryden Road, has been charged with her murder and is due to appear before magistrates in Doncaster later.

    In a statement, Miss Stringfellow's family said: "Our hearts are broken and will never truly be repaired.

    "You were beautiful and kind and inspired so many others. We know you will live on in your little girl."
