A 21-year-old woman has died in a collision between two cars in Brighouse.

A Vauxhall Corsa travelling away from Brighouse and a Mercedes C180 travelling towards Brighouse collided on the A643 Highmoor Lane on Saturday afternoon, police say.
A 21-year-old Dewsbury woman, who was a passenger in the Vauxhall Corsa, suffered serious injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to West Yorkshire Police.
Det Sgt Alison Webb said: "This has been a very serious incident in which a young woman has lost her life and we are conducting a full investigation into what took place.
"We are appealing for witnesses and I would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or either the Mercedes or Corsa just prior to the incident taking place.
"We would also like anyone with dashcam footage of the collision, or the vehicles driving just prior to the crash, to contact us."

Police in Sheffield are appealing for help finding a 16-year-old boy missing since last Wednesday.

Jaiyan Schmidt, who is Sri Lankan, was last seen on 19 August in the Ponds Forge area.
The teenager is described as slim, with short black hair and a little facial hair.
He was last seen wearing black jeans, a Nike jumper and carrying a Nike drawstring bag.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police.

An investigation has begun after a man was found dead in Harrogate.

Officers called to Harcourt Drive in the town at 19:15 last night say they found two injured men.
One of the men was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries, the other was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone with information about what happened or who witnessed the incident is being urged to contact police.
