Burrow, who made 493 appearances for Leeds Rhinos, was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2019, two years after retiring from playing.
With the support of his former club and the rugby league community, the 38-year-old has spent the past year working to raise awareness of the degenerative condition, which affects how nerves in the brain and spinal cord function.

A car driver thought to be a key witness to a sexual assault on a woman on Christmas Eve in West Yorkshire is being urged to contact police.
The lone female victim was approached by a male and subjected to a serious sexual assault on Woolley Edge Lane, Woolley, near Wakefield, between 22:00 and 22:50 on 24 December, according to West Yorkshire Police.
The woman suffered minor injuries and was left very distressed by the incident, police said.
Officers believe a man driving along Woolley Edge Lane with two children in the car may have seen the victim trying to flag him down.
Det Insp Kristy Wright said: "I must stress we're seeking to speak with him as a witness. Due to his presence in the area at the time, it's possible he may have information which could assist us."
The man suspected of assaulting the woman is described as white, between 5ft 10ins and 6ft 4ins tall, around 35 years old, of stocky build, with short hair and a Yorkshire accent.
Anyone with any information about the incident or the suspect is being asked to contact police.
The headteacher of a South Yorkshire school has criticised the government's announcement of a delay to the start of term for secondary school children in England due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Lessons will start online, with pupils due to take exams next summer returning to class on 11 January, and other years following a week later.
Primary schools will also remain closed in areas with the highest infection rates.
Pepe Di'Iasio, head teacher of Wales High near Rotherham and Vice-President of the Association of School and College Leaders, says: "We've all seen this coming and would've preferred to have been able to plan for this before the end of last term.
"That would have meant parents can be made aware of it, students can be made aware of it and teachers can make sure plans are in place to deliver education from next Monday."
Ryan Hill, who absconded from Hatfield Open Prison, was found by Thames Valley Police officers.
Read MoreYork and North Yorkshire moving to tier three coronavirus restrictions is a "real blow" for the county, the council's health boss has said.
The county and city moved to very high alert virus restrictions earlier today, meaning pubs and bars must close and people can't mix with other households or in private gardens.
Richard Webb, director for health and adult services at North Yorkshire County Council, says: "We've seen this surge of cases not only in the city of York but also in Hambleton and Richmondshire recently.
"So we had to see a toughening of the restrictions, but the change is a real blow for hospitality and it's a big issue for the county."
Mr Webb added: "We're working hard to keep the situation in tier three. We can do it, but we'll have to work really hard."
Four more people have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Huddersfield earlier this month.
Jamal Nedd, 26, of Fartown, died after being shot in a car on Ripon Avenue on 19 December in what police believe was a "targeted" attack.
A man, 35, from Huddersfield, has been arrested on suspicion of murder along with two women and a man who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Six men previously arrested for murder have been released on bail, West Yorkshire Police said.
A 24-year-old woman who was arrested for assisting an offender has been released under investigation, the force added.
A large group of people, including men, women and teenagers, was involved in a "violent incident" in York on Monday, police say.
Two people were arrested and released on bail following the incident, which took place on Falsgrave Crescent and Ratcliffe Street at about 19:45, according to North Yorkshire Police.
A spokesperson for the North Yorkshire force said: "Officers haven't ruled out making further arrests."
Some people are thought to have filmed the incident, police say, and officers are appealing for those people to get in touch.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and who witnessed the incident is also being asked to contact the North Yorkshire force.
