Ashton Bryan-Boyd (pictured), 31, of Grange Avenue, Chapeltown, is also wanted in connection with a report of theft of a motor vehicle and harassment, according to West Yorkshire Police.
Officers say they want to hear from anyone who has seen or spoken to Bryan-Boyd recently or who knows where he might be staying.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police.

All adults who live or work in the area are being encouraged to take a PCR test, whether they've got symptoms or not.
Anna Hartley, director of public health for Wakefield, said: "Over the last week we've seen a steep rise in infections, around four days ago it was around 80 per 100,000 and now it is up to well over 100.
"Our hospital admissions remain very low and we've not seen a death in Wakefield for four weeks, but what is particularly concerning is the disruption to society, in particular to children's education, and that's why we need to get those rates right down."

An 80-year-old man has had his car stolen while he was recycling bottles at a supermarket in Cleckheaton.
The man was using the bottle bank at the Tesco store in Serpentine Road on 23 June when the thief got into the driver's seat of his black VW Touareg
West Yorkshire Police said the two men argued before the thief drove away in the car.
The vehicle was last seen on St Peg Lane heading towards Gomersal.
Det Con Chris Eglen, said: "We want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has seen the car since.
"We believe the car will also have some damage to it, as it struck another vehicle as it left the car park.”
England's deputy chief medical officer has described Lincolnshire's fight against the coronavirus pandemic as akin to the final stages of a football match.
Professor Jonathan Van Tam, who has become known for his sporting analogies during government coronavirus briefings, said: "We're probably now in the 72nd minute or so, do not be foolish, it's about game management, it's about finishing the job and making sure that whatever happens we get the three points."
The infection rate in Lincoln rose from 24 people per 100,000 in the week to 13 June to 65 per 100,000 in the week to 20 June.

Two men are "critically ill" in hospital after being stabbed in Wakefield, police say.
Emergency services were called to an incident on Grantley Street shortly after 18:00 on Wednesday, according to West Yorkshire Police.
Two males were found with stab wounds and taken to hospital where they remain in a critical condition.
Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Two of the men, aged 37 and 47, have since been released without charge while an 18-year-old man has been released on bail while inquiries are ongoing.
Det Ch Insp Tony Nicholson, said: "This was a serious incident in which two young males have been seriously injured.
"Anyone who saw this incident or who has information about it should contact police."
