Plans have been revealed for a solar farm in North Lincolnshire which would generate enough electricity to power nearly 3,000 homes.
The Winterton Solar Farm would see around 18,000 panels installed on a site on Carr Lane near South Ferriby.
The site would be capable of producing 9.71 MW of electricity, it is also expected that it would save over 2,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.
An application has been submitted to use two fields for the farm for the next 40 years. The developer said the site could be returned to agricultural land at the end of the period.

Fire crews have gained access to the base of a transmitter for the first time since it was destroyed in a fire.
The blaze at the Bilsdale mast impacted Freeview, DAB, and FM radio signals for more than a million people across North Yorkshire, Teesside and County Durham, and many remain without coverage.
Operator Arqiva said work to assess the condition of the mast itself on the North York Moors could now begin.
Engineers have also been working to boost the Eston Nab transmitter.
An Arqiva spokesman said: "We are currently undertaking additional works at the Eston Nab site to allow us to extend the coverage area of the signal to cover parts of Darlington, Richmond and Barnard Castle among others which we expect to be complete this week.
"We are grateful to our landowners who continue to provide access to their lands to allow this critical work to take place."

A holiday park with Lord of the Rings style "hobbit pods" could open in an East Yorkshire village.
If approved three cylindrical pods set in the ground and topped with turf would be installed in a new park off Silver Street in Huggate under plans submitted to East Riding Council.
The plans, from Fretwell’s Planning and Development, stated the pods would be supplied with electricity, plumbing and be furnished with kitchen, bathroom and living facilities.
The pods’ shape and their setting on a curved base dug out of the ground resemble the Middle Earth homes of hobbits in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy.
Plans stated: "The proposed development is of a high-quality design which would result in a sensitive tourist development that assimilates easily into the landscape."

Paul Taylor, from Wantage, Oxfordshire, is making the charity fundraising trip in memory of a friend who died of cancer.
His journey will begin in Shitterton, Dorset, on Wednesday and will take in locations such as Twatt in Orkney and Booze in the Yorkshire Dale's in Arkengarthdale.
Mr Taylor said said he chose Shitterton, near Bere Regis, as his starting point because of its "appealing" name.
"There's some good ones around there, like Happy Bottom Nature Reserve and Sandy Balls New Forest Holiday Park."
Mr Taylor said after his friend Alexis Leventis died of cancer last year, aged 55, he wanted to do something "to help beat this awful disease".
"I thought this trip was a suitably ridiculous place to start and, as Alexis was a motorcyclist as well as a car nut, two wheels was not only appropriate but made it more of a adventure."
Mr Taylor, who has named his challenge the Moronic Moped Marathon, will be mostly camping on his trip.
He is raising money for the Institute of Cancer Research and will be recording his progress on social media.
Today will be cloudy with a few spells of rain to start with.
The rain will tend to clear through the morning, with a few light showers lingering in the afternoon.
Tonight will remain overcast and largely dry:

On the day fully vaccinated people no longer have to self-isolate if they come into contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19, a South Yorkshire public health boss has warned that cases "remain high".
Ben Anderson, Rotherham Council’s director of public health, has warned the rule change "does not mean Covid-19 has gone”, adding that the number of patients with the virus in Rotherham Hospital has reached the highest number for some months.
"More than 50 people are being treated for Covid in Rotherham Hospital today, which is the highest number since March," said Mr Anderson.
"The virus is still too common in our communities and we need to make sure we do our bit to stop transmission so we can keep case numbers down.
"The number of new cases remains very high - 383.4 per 100,000 - and is now rising in the majority of age groups, including those over 50 who we know are most vulnerable to serious illness, hospitalisation and death.
Mr Anderson added that in Rotherham, 85.6% of adults have had at least one vaccination with 77.5% being double-vaccinated.

The people running a project to help families with school uniforms on the North Yorkshire coast say they've had had a fantastic response from people donating to it.
Scarborough Uniform Recycle is holding the first of a number of "giveaway events" today where people who are struggling with the cost of school uniforms are welcome to collect items for free.
It's due to take place at Westborough Methodist Church between 16;00 and 19:00.
Tom Clayton, who set up the project, told BBC Radio York they've been "blown away" after having hundreds of items donated and they "didn't bargain for the scale of response" they've had.
He also said because many children have been home-schooling during the pandemic, some uniforms have never been worn.
Donations of uniforms can still be made at drop-off points in the town, including at Sainsbury's and Queen Street and Wreyfield Drive Methodist Churches.

An Edwardian swimming pool has reopened after a £3.75m refurbishment with swimmers able to take a dip at turn-of-the-century prices.
Hull's Beverley Road Baths, which originally opened in 1905, has been closed since June 2020 to allow the work to be carried out.
To celebrate the reopening, Monday's swim was priced at just one pence.
The team working with Hull City Council said the refurbishment had been done "sensitively and sympathetically."
As well as the pool there are improved gym and sauna facilities.
There have also been essential repairs to the Grade II-listed building, with a new roof and refurbished windows.
The project is part of a larger £18m spend to improve leisure facilities in the city that will also see the lido at Albert Avenue reopen after 25 years.
Councillor Daren Hale, Leader of the council , said the future of Beverley Road Baths had been secured "for generations to come."
