    While we might only have spent £2.50 on beer and cider, we spent considerably more on wine per week.

    Well the Office for National Statistics has released its latest figures on household spending for between 2012-14. 

    Here in the East Midlands we spent on average £495 per week. That's on everything from food, to clothing and rent.
