Well the Office for National Statistics has released its latest figures on household spending for between 2012-14.
Here in the East Midlands we spent on average £495 per week. That's on everything from food, to clothing and rent.

Here in the East Midlands for example, we had the highest average spend on education across the country at £17 per week.
That includes includes school fees and trips.
