    Staying dry but fairly cloudy for the rest of the day. 

    It will be a cold and frosty night with lows of -3C (27F) in rural areas. There will also be some icy patches where the snow has melted.

    Tomorrow will start frosty and bright for some. However, the cloud will quickly increase during the morning and it will stay dry and fairly cloudy into the afternoon with highs of 4C (39F).

    People wanting to be what the inquiry calls a "core participant" in the IICSA investigation into Lord Janner have about a month to submit their application to be involved.

  6. Inquiry to examine county council's response to Janner claimspublished at 17:08

    IICSA - the national Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse - will look at whether Leicestershire County Council was aware of the allegations against Lord Janner and its response.

    The authority has told us it's fully committed to co-operating with the inquiry.

    Some of those at the funeral spoke to the our reporter.

    One woman said: "I think everybody's devastated, everybody in the village. We can't put it into words how we all feel."

    Another woman said: "It's awful what happened, I've got a son that's same age and it brings it home that anything could happen to your children. We've just came to pay our respects."

    Police say Przemek Zukowski, 25, and Pawel Repich, 24, both from Leicester, were found guilty of a string of charges, external.

    Zukowski was sentenced to seven years in prison, and Repich six.

    They'll also be on the Sex Offenders Register for life, and are subject to a restraining order and Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

    Kayleigh Haywood's former primary school head teacher was among those paying tribute to the teenager at her funeral this morning.

    Derek Mullan said: "For the staff of the school, one of the most endearing memories was of Kayleigh's big smile as she bounded down the corridor first thing in the morning. 

    "She would have a cheery 'Good morning' and staff would return the greeting."

    The city council says licensing regulations for HMOs are to protect the rights of tenants and landlords are obliged to ensure their properties are correctly licensed.
