A landlord who rented out a House in Multiple Cccupation (HMO) without being licensed to do so has been fined almost £29,000.
The 40-year-old's Humberstone Drive property had eight bedsit/flats over three storeys with some shared facilities.
He'd been told he needed to apply for a HMO licence in April 2015 but failed to do so.

Purple bows tied to lamp-posts lined Kayleigh Haywood's journey in a horse-drawn cortege along Measham's High Street to the parish church.
The public funeral will be followed by a private burial attended only by her family.

The service, expected to last about 45 minutes, is being relayed to those outside the church through loudspeakers.

A Facebook page, external, set up in tribute to Kayleigh Haywood, has been used to post messages ahead of the funeral today.
