  1. Unlicenced landlord hit with big finepublished at 13:30

    A landlord who rented out a House in Multiple Cccupation (HMO) without being licensed to do so has been fined almost £29,000.

    The 40-year-old's Humberstone Drive property had eight bedsit/flats over three storeys with some shared facilities.

    He'd been told he needed to apply for a HMO licence in April 2015 but failed to do so.
