New Leicester City signing Daniel Amartey, external said it was a "great pleasure" to be joining the club.
He said: "I know the club have been interested in signing me for some time and that was a big part of my decision to come here.
“All over Europe, people are talking about Leicester City and how well the club is doing in the Premier League.
"The team plays exciting, attacking football and I’m looking forward to being part of it.”

Leicester City have confirmed the signing of Daniel Amartey from FC Copenhagen.
The 21-year-old defensive midfielder is a Ghanaian international.

Speaking to BBC Radio Leicester's Kevin Ncube, Baroness Lawrence admits she doesn't have much of a knowledge of Leicester yet.
However, she said she was looking forward to changing that and plans to spend a lot of time here getting to know the city intimately.
She says she thinks De Montfort University "complements" all the work she's done over the years.

They're officially making Baroness Doreen Lawrence, external their new chancellor.
Baroness Lawrence was the mother of the murdered teenager Stephen Lawrence and has spent the years since his death helping young people through a trust set up in his name.

The Head of the CPS East Midlands rape and serious sexual offences team has been talking about the conviction of John Townsend for a rape more than 20 years ago, external.
Lawrence English said: “This case demonstrates the value of securing evidence at the time of the offence, from witness accounts to DNA forensics.
"Although there was nothing that could be achieved with the samples at the time, modern scientific advances meant that when a sample was taken from Townsend, it identified him as the rapist.
“Townsend subjected his victim to a terrifying ordeal. It cannot have been easy for her to have revisited the events of that night and part of her past life, but she has given clear, compelling evidence that has brought Townsend to justice for what he did."

Police arrested a 28-year-old man from the Leicester area who has since been released on bail., external
PC Jonathan Green from the British Transport Police said: “We believe a number of people were on platform 3 at the time of the assault and may have witnessed what took place.
"If that was you, I’d urge you to please contact us as you may have important information which will help this investigation.”

The British Transport Police are asking for help , externalfrom anyone who witnessed an assault at Loughborough railway station last night.
An 18-year-old man was pushed to the ground, assaulted and left with a suspected broken hand and an injured face.

It seems the Premier League has come to an agreement with East Midlands Trains following the fixture change between Leicester City and Arsenal.
Fans that had already brought a train ticket to London for 13 February will now be able to use it the following day instead.

I told you earlier about some Leicester City fans being angry about a late change to the fixture against Arsenal.
Well, a member of an independent fan's union has told BBC Radio Leicester they plan to protest against the changes.
He said: "I don't think 23 days notice is at all fair on match-going supporters.
"Let's not forget, the fans that go to matches are what makes it such an attractive prospect for Sky because who would want to watch an empty football stadium."

While many resident oppose the expansion of Magna Park, the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce thinks it makes good business sense.
Director of police Chris Hobson says the growth opportunities are "too good to turn down".

A man has been jailed after a DNA sample given in 2013 linked him to the rape of a sex worker in Leicester in 1994, external.
The Crown Prosecution Service said John Townsend, now aged 45, agreed a price for sex and took her to a remote car park.
He then produced a handgun and raped her at gunpoint, forcing her to walk away from the car when the attack was over so he could drive away and abandon her.
A man who raped a sex worker at gunpoint in Leicester 22 years ago has been jailed for 15 years after DNA evidence was used to identify him.
John Townsend attacked the woman in a remote car park on the outskirts of the city in 1994 but was only caught when a DNA sample he provided in 2013 matched evidence taken at the time.
