    Kayleigh Haywood was seen fleeing a house half-naked before a man chased, raped and murdered her, a court heard.

    Stephen Beadman, 29, (pictured left) of George Avenue, Ibstock, admitted raping and murdering the teenager at a hearing in April.

    He and Luke Harlow, 27, also of George Avenue, are on trial at Nottingham Crown Court after both denied a charge of false imprisonment.

    Harlow had also previously pleaded guilty to sexual grooming and two counts of sexual activity with a child.

    Former Leicestershire PCC Clive Loader, was very angry about the initial decision not to prosecute Lord Janner.

    But now Willy Bach says he's made a decision that it's not appropriate to make any comment about the allegations, or the Goddard Inquiry. 

    It is because he knew Greville Janner for many years and was treasurer in his Leicester constituency. 

    They also served together in the House of Lords and on Leicester City Council.

    The leader of Leicestershire County Council, Nick Rushton, has been speaking about the money that has been committed to the Goddard Inquiry. 

    "The abuse of children is totally unacceptable and it is vital that the voices of people who were abused are heard," he said. 

    "We remain fully committed to co-operating with the inquiry to ensure that events are fully investigated and any lessons learned."

    Leicestershire County Council is setting aside £2m to support the Goddard Inquiry into child sex abuse.

    The council is one of a number of organisations required by law to contribute to the inquiry’s first investigation which is looking into allegations against former Leicester MP Greville Janner.
