In the video shown to the jury, Harlow was heard telling police about the morning after their night of drinking.
He said he woke up feeling “quite groggy”. He said he didn't know where Kayleigh Haywood was but her shoes were still in the flat.
He said he then went round to Stephen Beadman’s house: “He had scratches all over his face, which he didn’t have on Friday night. He said he had got them at work, he is a landscape gardener. I didn’t think anything of it at the time.
“I asked Stephen Beadman if he had seen her leave - he said no.”

The police say they can understand why some drivers are angry about the M1 closure.
Ass Ch Cons Phil Kay said: “I appreciate that this remains an extremely frustrating situation for the many hundreds of thousands of motorists who have inevitably been caught up as a result of this road closure.
“I have the greatest of sympathy with everyone whose plans and daily activities have been affected but our primary responsibility is the safety of the man himself"

A jury have been told witnesses heard a frightened girl screaming "mummy" on the night 15-year-old Kayleigh Haywood was raped and murdered in Leicestershire.
They also heard a man with a bloodied face was seen near to where the 15-year-old's body was found.
Stephen Beadman and Luke Harlow are on trial for falsely imprisoning Kayleigh before she was killed. They deny the charges.

"I was caught in this incident yesterday afternoon, that it has gone on for 24 hours is an embarrassment to all involved. By now they could have got a load of crash mats in to ensure that if he jumps he won't be killed and sent people up there to forcibly remove him. When does his rights outweigh those of the rest of us?"

We've just had an update from the police on the M1 closure.
They say the stretch of motorway is still closed, external after a man climbed up a ladder yesterday lunchtime and into the stanchion over the southbound carriageways.
Ass Ch Cons Phil Kay said: “We have been working hard since yesterday lunchtime to resolve this situation and our efforts continue this afternoon to persuade the man to come down safely.
"We are exploring a range of different options involving other agencies but we cannot and will not reopen the road until our aim has been achieved."

The M1 is still closed southbound between J23 and J22 but traffic does seem to be a little calmer coming off the motorway.
This is around J23A where drivers are being diverted off...
It would seem the man on the motorway sign is staging some form of protest.
He's been there since midday yesterday.
