    Outbreaks of showery rain continuing for the rest of the afternoon but slowly petering out into the evening. 

    There will be a couple of light showers overnight but many areas will be dry. Feeling muggy with a low of 12C (54F).

    A mostly dry start to tomorrow but the showers will quickly get going through the morning and there will be a few heavy ones into the afternoon.

    In the video shown to the jury, Harlow was heard telling police about the morning after their night of drinking.

    He said he woke up feeling “quite groggy”. He said he didn't know where Kayleigh Haywood was but her shoes were still in the flat.

    He said he then went round to Stephen Beadman’s house: “He had scratches all over his face, which he didn’t have on Friday night.  He said he had got them at work, he is a landscape gardener.  I didn’t think anything of it at the time.

    “I asked Stephen Beadman if he had seen her leave - he said no.”

    On his Instagram account he posted a photo of him and his teammates celebrating with the Premier League Cup and said: "Today signed a new contract with LCFC I am glad that I will be one year longer part of this team and club."

    In the video shown to the jury Luke Harlow told the police he and Kayleigh Haywood watched three films on television together on the Saturday night.

    He said he offered to make her food and said the 15-year-old was drinking heavily.

    He said he then went with Stephen Beadman to the shop to buy more alcohol leaving Kayleigh in the flat drinking vodka.

    Stephen Beadman said in the video that she was so drunk: “I had to carry her to the toilet.”

    This is the landslip at Corby Tunnel between that's disrupting train services between Oakham and Corby...

    Network Rail say it doesn’t look very dramatic but claim it certainly could be if they ran trains on it.

    The section of track isn't expected to re open until Wednesday 15 June.

    Police have arrested the man who was on the motorway sign above the M1.

    His protest closed the M1 between J23 and J22 for about 28 hours.

    The police say they can understand why some drivers are angry about the M1 closure.

    “I have the greatest of sympathy with everyone whose plans and daily activities have been affected but our primary responsibility is the safety of the man himself"

    A jury have been told witnesses heard a frightened girl screaming "mummy" on the night 15-year-old Kayleigh Haywood was raped and murdered in Leicestershire.

    They also heard a man with a bloodied face was seen near to where the 15-year-old's body was found.

    Stephen Beadman and Luke Harlow are on trial for falsely imprisoning Kayleigh before she was killed. They deny the charges.

    "I was caught in this incident yesterday afternoon, that it has gone on for 24 hours is an embarrassment to all involved. By now they could have got a load of crash mats in to ensure that if he jumps he won't be killed and sent people up there to forcibly remove him. When does his rights outweigh those of the rest of us?"

    We've just had an update from the police on the M1 closure.

    They say the stretch of motorway is still closed, external after a man climbed up a ladder yesterday lunchtime and into the stanchion over the southbound carriageways.

    Ass Ch Cons Phil Kay said: “We have been working hard since yesterday lunchtime to resolve this situation and our efforts continue this afternoon to persuade the man to come down safely. 

    "We are exploring a range of different options involving other agencies but we cannot and will not reopen the road until our aim has been achieved."

    The M1 is still closed southbound between J23 and J22 but traffic does seem to be a little calmer coming off the motorway.

    It would seem the man on the motorway sign is staging some form of protest.
