    Harlow claimed he awoke on Sunday 15 November to find Kayleigh gone. 

    Stephen Beadman had been with Harlow and Kayleigh the night before, and Harlow claimed he walked to his neighbour's house to see if she was there.

    When he spoke to Beadman he said he had scratches all over his face, which he didn’t have before.

    He claims Beadman told him he he'd got them at work and said "I didn’t think anything of it at the time".

    Kayleigh told her family she was spending the weekend with friends and on 13 November she was dropped off outside Ibstock Community College.

    Instead, the 15-year-old met with Luke Harlow. The prosecution claim he gave her "substantial amounts of alcohol" and "sexually touched" her.

    Her parents became worried about her and reported her missing to the police.

    Her body was found after days of searching.

    Harlow's co-defendant Stephen Beadman was found guilty of the same offence yesterday. He and Harlow were neighbours.

    Beadman, 29, admitted raping and murdering 15-year-old Kayleigh Haywood and leaving her body in a field just outside Ibstock.

    Both men will be sentenced on Friday.

    The jury found that Luke Harlow held Kayleigh Haywood captive at his home on George Avenue in Ibstock in November.

    He already admitted to grooming the teenager on Facebook before having her over for a alcohol-filled weekend that ended with 15-year-old Kayleigh being murdered by his co-defendant Stephen Beadman.

    She says: "A neighbour who has the permanent right to remain in the country said he felt very isolated and unwanted on Friday morning and that Leicester seemed like a less friendly place than it had been on Thursday.

    "I really took that to heart and wanted to do something to help."

    A 40-year-old man has been charged with two counts of death by dangerous driving after a crash on the A50 Groby Road., external

    The crash happened on Friday 29 January. 

    Rashminder Gill from Bradgate Hill is also charged with one count of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

    The jury are to continue deliberations on whether or not Luke Harlow falsely imprisoned the Measham schoolgirl before she was murdered.
