    His next door neighbour Stephen Beadman later raped and murdered the 15-year-old, leaving her body in undergrowth around a mile and a half from the flat.

    Steven Beadman has been sentenced to life in prison and will serve a minimum of 35 years for the rape and murder of Measham schoolgirl Kayleigh Haywood.

    The 29-year-old from George Avenue in Ibstock also falsely imprisoned the 15-year-old girl at his neighbour's house before the fatal attack.

    Luke Harlow has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for his involvement in the death of Kayleigh Haywood.

    The 28-year-old groomed the teenager online and lured her to his home on George Avenue in Ibstock.

    There he supplied her with alcohol, sexually touched her and held her captive.

    He introduced her to his neighbour who went on to kill her.

    A special service has been held at Leicester Cathedral to highlight a disease called mesothelioma.

    It's a type of cancer that is caused by exposure to asbestos.

    We're still waiting for Harlow and Beadman to be sentenced by a judge in Nottingham.

    So far today Kayleigh Haywood's mum and dad have spoken in court to give a victim impact statement.

    The Trust ended its relationship with Interserve in February following a row over the cleanliness of all three hospitals.

    Chairman Karamjit Singh says: "The achievement here was that we were able to maintain services. 

    "We brought about 1,700 staff back in and you get this change from 30 April to 1 May without any hitches."

    The Battle of the Somme isn't something you might expect a predominantly Muslim school to commemorate but they are over at Moat Community college in the Highfields area of Leicester.

    They've been learning about how many Indian soldiers also lost their lives in the battle.

    Every teacher and student has also planted a felt poppy in their remembrance garden.
