    A handful of the Leicester Riders team are from the US and have been telling us what they think about the circus that's been going on there.

    Magson did call 999 after stabbing James Knight with a steak knife but didn't tell the emergency services he'd been stabbed - she even said "that's fine" when told an ambulance might be delayed. 

    The judge said: "Her behaviour is not at all easy to understand."

    The attack happened at Magson's house in Sylvan Street in Leicester on 27 March.

    A woman found guilty of murdering her partner by stabbing him in the heart with a steak knife has been jailed for at least 17 years.

    Emma-Jayne Magson stabbed 26-year-old James Knight following a drunken row.

    The 23-year-old then delayed getting medical help for him.

    This is Steve Jones from the Harborough Rail Users Group - he says electrifying the Midland Mainline in Leicestershire would make a difference to commuters.

    Despite it only shaving off a few minutes of journey time he says those minutes added up would equal quite a substantial amount of time.

    He wants to hear a commitment today from the transport minister that it will happen.

    If you don't know much about railway electrification and want to know why Nicky Morgan is so bothered, it's because electric trains are suppose to be faster, greener, quieter and more reliable.

    Network Rail says electric trains have more seats than diesel trains of the same length - so potentially less standing up for passengers.

    Electric trains are apparently also more reliable and need less maintenance so it could mean fewer delays.

    More worrying news for railway commuters this morning - one of our MP's has reason to believe the Leicestershire stretch of the Midland Mainline won't be electrified as soon as expected.

    The government has been looking into electrifying the line between Nottingham and London for years but Nicky Morgan is now concerned plans will only see the changes made south of Corby.
