    A mild, grey morning and early afternoon on Tuesday with a few light spots of rain. However, towards the end of the day cloud starts to break and clearer, cooler air starts to feed down.

    A 59-year-old Leicester man has appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court charged with attempted arson.

    It's after a bag containing an "ignitable device" was left on a pavement in Kirby Muxloe in August last year.

    Michael Brooks from Chester Road in Blaby was released on conditional bail and will appear at Leicester Crown Court on 12 December.

    A 30-year-old man who was arrested after a serious collision in Loughborough, external has been released on bail.

    It happened on Blackbrook Road in the early hours of Saturday, when a car hit two unattended parked vehicles.

    Two of the three men inside the car are still in hospital.

    Tigers thrashed Newport Gwent Dragons with six tries at Welford Road.

    The Grade II listed Hare Krishna Temple building designed by Joseph Goddard was built in 1874 as the headquarters of the Leicestershire Banking Company.

    You might know it as the old Midland Bank building because that's what it was before it was taken over by the temple society ISKCON in 2011.

    His great grandson Tony Goddard - also an architect - said: "The Goddard family are delighted that the archive of their papers and drawings, a record of the family's architectural endeavours over the past 160 years, are to finally find a long-term home in one of Joseph Goddard's best known buildings."

    ISKCON, which runs the city's Hare Krishna Temple, will receive 160 years worth of the Goddard family's work to display in their building on Granby Street. It was designed by Joseph Goddard.
