Mark Williamson has tweeted, external: "Shepshed road, to beacon hill, deep fast flowing water across roadd, getting dark and misty, pretty dangerous! Extra care needed."

The Environment Agency has issued a flood warning for the Grace Dieu Brook , externalat Whitwick and Thringstone - this is where there was flooding back in June.
A slightly less serious flood alert is in place for Leicestershire's Lower River Soar and the Lougborough Urban watercourses.
