    Stacey said: "It's heartbreaking, disgusting and upsetting that other people in the country get three IVF cycles. I am really angry and feel letdown.

    "Why should we move and leave our home, we should be treated equally."

    In a letter, it said it was “necessary” to make difficult decisions with limited resources.

    Talking about Stacey and Leigh's case it said: “We do hope that Mr and Mrs Oswin will understand the necessity in establishing criteria that assists in helping to prioritise our budgets for the benefit of all patients.”

    Police are investigating a stabbing at McDonald's on Market Street in Leicester this morning.

    They've said a 21-year-old man sustained a stab wound after a fight at about 4:30 - he's in hospital but his injuries are not thought to be serious.

    The restaurant has been cordoned off.

    "Every day is a struggle. I've even had to move away from family and friends, who are pregnant, because it hurts too much to be around them."

    A couple from Eyres Monsell in Leicester have resulted to “desperate” measures to raise money for a second cycle of in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment.

    Stacey and Leigh Oswin said they were "disgusted and angry" to receive one NHS-funded round because they live in Leicester.

    They have set up an online fundraising campaign, external to raise £5,000 for private treatment.

    Salma Ravat thinks there's more the city council can be doing to get homeless people off the streets.

    She said: "The city council don't refer to voluntary and charitable organisations, like ours, that aren't commissioned by them. 

    "Now if they did, together we could actually look at the problem and creative solutions to how we can tackle rough sleeping in the city and hopefully get more people off our streets."
