Police have just reported a 63-year-old man died in a crash on the M69 last night, external.
The two cars and a van crashed at about 20:40 on the southbound carriageway - a woman was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary for treatment and has since been discharged.

It looks like most football fans behaved well last night during the FA Cup match between Leicester City and Derby County.
Police have said they stopped and searched 26 people but no arrests were made and no dispersal orders were handed out.
Supt Steve Potter, the match commander, said: “There was a great atmosphere at the match last night, with a very low level number of incidents."

After the match Leicester City's Andy King said: "It's been a tough few weeks and we've been getting a lot of criticism.
"It was important to get a win tonight to try to kick-start some form to take into the league."
