The fire service has now released more information about the fire saying they received "multiple calls" at about 10:45 to a large fire following an explosion.
It involves a high voltage electrical substation.
They're now hosing down surrounding buildings and working with police who are advising locals to keep windows closed due to smoke.
The fire service has also said they are working with a Western Power engineer who is on site.
About 8,800 litres of oil is being allowed to burn off.

BBC Radio Leicester reporter
The flames are around 20m high and a huge plume of smoke is billowing east over the A6.
I spoke to a man who witnessed the start of the fire - he said there wasn't so much of an explosion, more a series of pops.
You can hear what sounds like glass smashing within the fire and the heat of the flames can be felt from a great distance away.
I'm told the fire service are tackling the blaze within the electrical substation but they are nowhere to be seen on Ravensbridge Drive.
A police cordon has been set-up and Western Power engineers are on scene.

This Spinney Hill church, which has been unused for over 20 years, could soon get a new lease of life...
An offer has been made to buy St Saviour's Church, on St Saviour's Road in Leicester.
The full plans are yet to be revealed but there are rules and procedures to be followed before a church can change its use.
Many local people have said they would like it to remain a church - one person said: "If that goes, I'll go. Forty-five years I've been here. I wouldn't want to see something else replace it."

A cash machine has been ripped out of the Co-op in Great Glen - it's now laying down the road with a metal chain around it.
The wall of the shop has been destroyed. There's bricks, metal, glass and wires all over the pavement of Main Street.
In front of the shop is a digger blocking the road - it looks like it's been used to take the cash machine out.

Prince Harry is coming to Leicester today to visit three local charities.
He'll start by meeting Year 8 pupils at Hamilton College who have been involved in the "Yes You Can" project. It uses peer mentors to inspire youngsters.
Next he'll go to the HIV charity LASS which is celebrating its 30th birthday. The organisation works with other agencies to try and tackle the stigma faced by people living with HIV and was visited by his mother Princess Diana in 1991.
Finally he'll go to Pink Lizard, a youth and community organisation based in the Saffron Lane estate. Its aim is to support young people living in deprived communities.

The key point of controversy among Tigers fans is not necessarily the decision itself.
As decent a man as Aaron Mauger is, it's not clear whether the board ever overlooked his role in the coaching differences with Richard Cockerill, which led to the director of rugby's own departure in January.
The timing of the decision is jarring, especially with further organisational changes promised in spite of Mauger's recent involvement in recruitment. Not one player recruited by Leicester in the three years before his arrival will be at Tigers next season.
It is also striking to see comments from players at a club renowned for not airing its dirty laundry in public. What is clear, is that players who were loud on social media when Cockerill left have been quieter during Mauger's exit and vice versa. A marked contrast to the smiles and unity on show after Sunday's Anglo-Welsh Cup Final win.
It is not a good omen ahead of two important Premiership fixtures in three weeks.

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy has said he's received death threats and his family have been targeted since Claudio Ranieri was sacked as manager.
The 30-year-old blamed "hurtful" and "false" accusations he influenced the club's decision to sack the Italian.
Ranieri left in February, nine months after winning the Premier League, with the club 17th in the table. His successor, Craig Shakespeare, later denied reports of a player revolt.
Quote Message"It is terrifying. I read one story that said I was personally involved in a meeting after the Sevilla game when I was actually sat in anti-doping for three hours. But then the story is out there, people pick it up and jump on it and you're getting death threats about your family, kids, everything. When people are trying to cut your missus up while she's driving, with the kids in the back of the car, it's not the best."
Jamie Vardy, Leicester City player
