    Drivers could face a fine if they stop, wait or drop off on double red lines in Nottingham from today.

    The restrictions were brought in by Nottingham City Council on parts of London Road, Canal Street, Queens Drive and Wilford Road.

    The aim is to keep traffic flowing during major roadworks around the Broadmarsh area.

    Police forces across the East Midlands have reacted to the terror attack in London on Saturday night.

    In Leicestershire it's been confirmed that armed officers will be patrolling events and crowded spaces over the next two weeks.

    The force is also reviewing its plans for policing the general election - they've said they will increase security at polling stations if necessary.

    In Nottinghamshire, the force carried out "high visibility patrols" yesterday to provide reassurance to the public.

    Most of us will have spent our weekends in shock following another terror attack in London.

    Three attackers killed seven people and injured 48.

    The BBC's Holly Jones, from Melton Mowbray, was on London Bridge when the van was driven into pedestrians...

    The latest on the investigation is that police know the identity of the attackers.

    Their names will be released "as soon as operationally possible".
