    • Up to 10 minute delays on the A38 southbound between the A6 and the junction with the A52 near Derby
    • A52 westbound between the junctions with the A46 and the A6011 congested

  4. Nottingham Theatre Royal to close while work is carried outpublished at 08:14 British Summer Time 6 June 2017

    Hoardings will be going up around Nottingham Theatre Royal as it gets a makeover this summer.

    It will close for three months while work is carried out to the cafe, bar, and roof terraces as part of the £3.3 million refurbishment plans.

    Changes will also be made to the theatre entrance and concert hall.

    The venue will close in July and will reopen in early October.

    Three children have gone missing together from Nottinghamshire and may be heading for Manchester, police have said.

    Ellise Parmar-Andrews, 14, Connor Dawson, 14, and Connor Robinson, 12, were last seen together at school in Kirklington, near Southwell, yesterday at about 12:00.

    They were all wearing a school uniform of black jogging bottoms or trousers and a white shirt.

    Nottinghamshire Police said they believe the three are still together and could have travelled to or attempted to travel to Manchester, where they may have connections.

    Police have said the car has been recovered and the section of road has reopened.
