Hospitals in Nottinghamshire are missing NHS targets for key areas of their performance including treatment for cancer patients.

The details have been revealed as the BBC launches a new online tracker helping you to see how your local hospital trust is performing.

Nottingham University Hospitals and Sherwood Forests Hospitals Trust are also failing to meet targets for seeing patients at accident and emergency.

Caroline Shaw, chief operating officer at Nottingham University Hospitals Trust, said: "It is really good to have the tracker because it is showing patients about services... the times they have to wait... I think it is a really good move for transparency.

"I think the challenges for lots of hospitals is, ours included, is there has been an increase in demand... it gets difficult every year to achieve some of the targets."
