    The 15-year-old was last seen in Derby on Monday 9 July at 11:30.

    He was wearing blue Adidas bottoms, a blue Armani t-shirt, black trainers and carrying a small black bag.

    It is believed he has links to the Birmingham and Wolverhampton areas.

    A 16-year-old from Bingham in Nottinghamshire is cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats after his father was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

    Jonathan Radford's dad Andy died in March 2017 after he was diagnosed with sarcoma, a soft tissue cancer.

    The teenager's hoping to raise £10,000 for Sarcoma UK with the two-week 1,000-mile cycle ride on 5 August.

    HMP Nottingham continues to have problems with inmates self-harming and drugs in jail, according to a report out this morning.

    The Independent Monitoring Board said it welcomes an increase in staff, but board members are "saddened" by the deaths of seven men at the prison during the year.

    The report said the prevalence of illegal drugs leads to violence, debt and health problems.

    In May, the chief inspector of prisons said inmates may have taken their own lives because they could no longer face life at the "drug-ridden jail".

    It's hard to imagine something like this happening at the moment but 50 years ago part of Leicester was devastated by flooding.

    Around 1,500 homes were affected when heavy rain caused Saffron Brook to burst its banks in July 1968.

    The flood defences set up in its wake have left a lasting legacy.

    This weekend the deluge was remembered as part of a museum exhibition, featuring these pictures taken at the time by members of the public.
