    Tim Parker
    BBC Radio Leicester reporter

There's some surprise the Leicester City Football Club training facility got approved last night.

Local residents I spoke to after the meeting are clearly worried about its impact on the nearby A46 junction.

But this gives the club the green light for what most councillors called a “fantastic” development.

The application was approved with eight councillors voting in favour of the plans, and four voting against.
