Josh's family, who were at the hearing, spoke about him being a "kind and loving boy" and said he might have taken the drugs under peer pressure.

Earlier this month a 37-year-old woman was handed a year's sentence, suspended for 18 months because although she had known the boys were smoking cannabis in her house, she did not supply it.

The hearing was told the boys had said they'd found a brown powder (the heroin) in a bag in the woods and taken some before going to the house that night.
