A country road near Brassington has reopened after a bridge was hit by a lorry yesterday afternoon.
The bridge over the B5056 has now been demolished.
A stretch of the High Peak Trail, that crosses the bridge, remains closed.
Derbyshire County Council said it is investigating whether alternative measures can be put in place to allow people to use the full length of the trail again.
Taryl Moxam caused the deaths of friends Adam Afsar and Jason Wilby in April 2018.
