  3. Fly-tipping in Caistor: Your viewspublished at 17:16

    We told you earlier about the staggering 6.5 tonnes of rubbish that cost £1,500 to clear from a bridleway near Caistor.

    Bad news for 90-year-old Roy Dowson from Burton, after a meeting with him and councillors today. He has until the end of February to cut it back.

    If he doesn't do it Lincolnshire County Council say they'll do it themselves and charge him afterwards.

    Lincolnshire County Council have suspended their use of their own IT network after identifying signs of a security breach.

    They say it's a precautionary measure until they can be sure of the extent of it.

  6. No verdict in academy trialpublished at 16:33

    The jury trying two executives from a chain of Lincolnshire Academies has been sent home for the night.

    Richard Gilliland and Stephen Davies both worked at the Lincoln-based Priory Federation of Academies.

    They face 10 charges of dishonesty between them - which they deny. The court's not sitting tomorrow, so deliberations continue on Thursday.

    Scientists who've been examining three whales that washed up on the Lincolnshire coast have abandoned their work because of fears over safety.

    Rob Deaville, who's been leading the operation to find out what happened to the huge creatures, says one of them "opened up rather explosively" when incisions were made.

    The whales are now being moved by East Lindsey District Council - it says the carcasses will be removed by contractors in the next few days.

    Earlier we told you about 90-year-old Roy Dowson from Burton's ongoing dispute with the county council over his hedge.

    They say it's overgrown and should be cut back  - but Roy says that'll kill it.

  11. Skegness whales: Pictures of authorities moving whales to Central Beachpublished at 15:29

    Because of their sheer size it's no easy task to move a whale.

    East Lindsey District Council has brought in heavy machinery to help them move the two found at Gibraltar Point.

    East Lindsey District Council have confirmed that they're going to move the two whales that washed up at Gibraltar Point to Central beach.

    The plan is to cover them all with sand to stop the tide from shifting them overnight.

    However the council say they have no such plans for the one at Wainfleet as it doesn't fall under their jurisdiction.

    A pub in Skegness, external is to be stopped from serving alcohol for a month after police records showed 29 reported incidents of assault or disorder linked to the venue.

    You might be enjoying the fact that petrol and diesel's cheaper at the pumps. But for people who work at the Humber oil refinery in North Lincolnshire these are worrying times.

    Last year 180 workers at the Total oil refinery in North Killingholme were told they'd lose their jobs.

    Sinking oil prices are fuelling fears of further cuts - but local MP Martin Vickers told the BBC today there's "no suggestion jobs will be lost any time soon".
