We told you earlier about the staggering 6.5 tonnes of rubbish that cost £1,500 to clear from a bridleway near Caistor.
This has prompted some strong opinions on social media, with some blame falling on the West Lindsey District Council themselves:
Quote MessageThis is disgusting. If the tips made it easier to take stuff there I think there would be less of this. Some are very awkward.
Wendy Baxter, Facebook
Quote MessageThere is no excuse for this sort of thing, but it will only get worse when the council start closing the tips.
Richard Pullen, Facebook
Quote MessageDisgusting!!! But it will only happen more if local tip are starting to charging eg hardcore, in time it will be everything.

Bad news for 90-year-old Roy Dowson from Burton, after a meeting with him and councillors today. He has until the end of February to cut it back.
If he doesn't do it Lincolnshire County Council say they'll do it themselves and charge him afterwards.
They say it doesn't leave enough room on the pavement for pedestrians
BBC Radio Lincolnshire
Lincolnshire County Council have suspended their use of their own IT network after identifying signs of a security breach.
They say it's a precautionary measure until they can be sure of the extent of it.

The jury trying two executives from a chain of Lincolnshire Academies has been sent home for the night.
Richard Gilliland and Stephen Davies both worked at the Lincoln-based Priory Federation of Academies.
They face 10 charges of dishonesty between them - which they deny. The court's not sitting tomorrow, so deliberations continue on Thursday.
Here's our latest weather forecast with Look North's Keeley Donovan.

Scientists who've been examining three whales that washed up on the Lincolnshire coast have abandoned their work because of fears over safety.
Rob Deaville, who's been leading the operation to find out what happened to the huge creatures, says one of them "opened up rather explosively" when incisions were made.
The whales are now being moved by East Lindsey District Council - it says the carcasses will be removed by contractors in the next few days.

Earlier we told you about 90-year-old Roy Dowson from Burton's ongoing dispute with the county council over his hedge.
They say it's overgrown and should be cut back - but Roy says that'll kill it.
Well you've been getting in touch to have your say:
Quote MessageIf it's an impediment to the public using the pavement, causing them to walk in road, then cut. Safety before beauty.
Elliot Sampford (@ElliotSampford), Twitter
But not everyone agrees:
Quote MessageWill Lincs CC remove all the county's road signs, bus stops etc which stop folk walking 2 abreast on pavements? Thought not.

Because of their sheer size it's no easy task to move a whale.
East Lindsey District Council has brought in heavy machinery to help them move the two found at Gibraltar Point.
BBC Radio Lincolnshire
East Lindsey District Council have confirmed that they're going to move the two whales that washed up at Gibraltar Point to Central beach.
The plan is to cover them all with sand to stop the tide from shifting them overnight.
However the council say they have no such plans for the one at Wainfleet as it doesn't fall under their jurisdiction.
A pub in Skegness, external is to be stopped from serving alcohol for a month after police records showed 29 reported incidents of assault or disorder linked to the venue.

You might be enjoying the fact that petrol and diesel's cheaper at the pumps. But for people who work at the Humber oil refinery in North Lincolnshire these are worrying times.
Last year 180 workers at the Total oil refinery in North Killingholme were told they'd lose their jobs.
Sinking oil prices are fuelling fears of further cuts - but local MP Martin Vickers told the BBC today there's "no suggestion jobs will be lost any time soon".

Savour it folks, according to our travel site there are currently no delays on Lincolnshire's roads.
Here's the latest from Blundell Park - Grimsby Town and Scott Brown have parted company.

Many of us woke up to frozen windscreens and frosty lawns last week but now it seems we've gone back to that unseasonable mildness.
The council certainly thinks so.
