    Lincoln's Theatre Royal will go under the hammer later today. 

    The building's freehold is up for auction with a guide price of £700,000.

    The man responsible for policing in North Lincolnshire told me this morning that problems on the Nunsthorpe estate in Grimsby aren't as bad as media reports suggest.

    Last Friday, two pollice community support officers were assaulted and a police vehicle damaged. 

    Ch Insp James Glansfield from Humberside Police says there's a dedicated police presence in the area.

    Record shops in Lincolnshire say they're selling more vinyl now than ever before.

    National figures show record sales jumped by 64% last year. 

    Mark Merrifield owns the Off The Beaten Tracks record shop in Louth. 

    He told me these are good times for people running record shops and says "before Christmas it was just crazy, people buying record players as presents and wanting vinyl to go with it."

    Mark believes the attraction for teenagers is that "its something completely different to the technology they're used to."

    It's on the A15 London Road in Bracebridge Heath, at the Red Hall Drive junction. 

    The delays are due to roadworks.

    Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue is encouraging people to have their say on how its services are delivered in Lincolnshire.

    The service says it needs to save about £1.6m over three years.

    Meetings have already taken place in Lincoln and Grantham, the third is due to take place in Skegness.

  10. SERCO compensation: Staff affected should contact councilpublished at 08:59 British Summer Time 14 April 2016

    A member of a recovery board set up by the council to deal with problems caused by Serco's handling of public finances is encouraging people who think they're affected to apply for compensation from the company.

    Labour councillor Rob Parker told me that "anybody who feels that they've been financially put out by issues to do with Serco should get in touch with the county council."
