    • A607 in both directions at Vicarage Lane Harmston

    Here in Lincolnshire we're known for our food production with fruit and vegetable farms spread across many fields. 

    It's big business and for one food factory in Holbeach it's becoming even bigger. 

    Bakkavor is expanding its workforce, taking on an extra 100 people at its site in Holbeach. 

    The company says it's due to increased demand for its chilled products.

  6. Plans to get work under way on Lincoln's Transport Hub go before councilpublished at 11:35 British Summer Time 15 June 2016

    With work soon to start on Lincoln's transport hub, plans are being made to make way for the build. 

    An application to create a temporary bus station on Tentercroft Street in Lincoln will go before councillors this evening. 

    It's ahead of the current facility being demolished to make way for the multi million pound regeneration.

    The number of people claiming jobseeker's allowance in Lincolnshire has fallen slightly. 

    In May just under 7,000 were receiving the benefit. That's around 500 fewer claimants since the same time last year.

    Overall across the East Midlands the rate of unemployment is 4.5% which is below the national average of 5%.

  8. Aircraft return to the skies at RAF Waddingtonpublished at 10:53 British Summer Time 15 June 2016

    It seems ages since we last saw aircraft zooming down the runway and taking off at RAF Waddington. 

    Work on the runway there has taken almost two years but its now nearing completion.

    The RAF has confirmed some flying operations have returned to the station.

    Aircraft have been moved to other sites since major work to rebuild and extend the runway started in 2014. 

    The Royal Air Force says the work is continuing and it'll be some months before the airfield is fully operational.

    With just over a week to go until you cast your vote in the EU referendum, MPs on both sides are are stepping up their campaigns to leave or remain in the European Union.

    That's including Lincoln's MP Karl McCartney who has begun his own Brexit tour of the county today.

    Karl McCartney's planning to visit 14 locations during the course of the day. 

    Starting in Lincoln this morning he will then be visiting towns including Boston and Louth.

  12. Police appeal after burglary in Skegnesspublished at 09:38 British Summer Time 15 June 2016

    Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a house in Skegness was burgled on Tuesday. 

    They say thieves gained entry to a house in Grosvenor Road sometime between 09:15 and 14:00 by forcing a rear window. 

    Items of jewellery were stolen.

    Have you been to see the display of poppies yet at Lincoln Castle?

    Lots of people have, more than 100,000 in fact in the last three weeks. 

    Great news for the attraction but also for the local area as other businesses have been benefiting.

    Shop owners in the Bailgate told BBC Radio Lincolnshire they've noticed an increase in trade.

    Were you affected by the flooding across Lincolnshire last night?

    Fire crews have been dealing with flash floods overnight, mainly in the south of the county. 

    This was the scene in Bourne following heavy rain yesterday afternoon.

    When the retailer BHS went into administration earlier this month, it came as a shock for many shoppers and even more so for its current and former staff.

    Lin Macmillan used to work at the store on the High Street in Lincoln.

    She's now spearheading a campaign calling for Sir Phillip Green, who sold the chain for just a pound, to help bailout the pensions and take responsibility.

    He's due before MPs today to answer questions about its collapse.

    It's looking slow heading into Lincoln on Canwick road and at the A17 Holdingham roundabout near Sleaford.

    There's also slow traffic on the A1 towards Stamford from Grantham following an earlier accident nearby. 

    All lanes have now re-opened and traffic is getting back to normal.
