There are claims that Cleethorpes is on the up, despite property website Zoopla naming it as the seaside resort with the biggest fall in house prices.

Zoopla says property values in the resort fell by 5.5% over the past year to an average of £126,331 - the biggest annual drop in Britain.

But businesses in Cleethorpes say it's actually a resort with a booming economy.

Andrew McCluskey runs the Kingsway Kiosks café on the seafront and says big events have helped.

  8. Hospital trust under fire for discharge delayspublished at 08:51 British Summer Time 22 July 2016

    BBC Radio Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire Hospital Trust has come under fierce criticism for delays in discharging older patients from hospitals.

The chair of parliament's public accounts committee, Meg Hiller, wants the government to bring in new measures to deal with the issue.

She says all the delays are adding up and areas of our county look poor in comparison to other parts of the UK:

    Quote Message

In Northumbria their delayed transfers by days across the year is 10 which is very good, but in Sleaford and North Hykeham in Lincolnshire it's nearly 18,000 days of delayed transfer.
