Earlier we told you about plans for an oil well in Wressle.
Egdon Resources - who are behind the plans - say there will be little impact to the area as the production well will only be about the size of a football pitch - and there will be one or two lorries a day leaving the site.
They also say that although it would only generate a couple of jobs working on the site when it was operational - the company would be paying business rates and will be contributing to the local economy.
We've been speaking to people in Brigg to see whether they knew there was oil in North Lincolnshire.

A science and arts festival inspired by Sir Isaac Newton delivered a "huge boost" to Grantham for the third year running, organisers said today.
South Kesteven District Council says it's still compiling visitor number statistics, but is confident the event last week was a major success.
Council leader Bob Adams said: "We expect the festival to inject more than a £1m into the local economy.
"I can’t think of a better way to showcase our district as a great place to live and invest and it is very encouraging that we’re talking to investors who think that way too."

I was talking to member of a bowling club in Woodhall Spa on BBC Radio Lincolnshire's breakfast show this morning.
They got so sick of waiting for builders to give them quotes for a new clubhouse that they took the bull by the horns and started work themselves.

Lincolnshire's biggest council looks like it will push ahead with proposals for a directly-elected mayor.
Lincolnshire county councillors are being recommended to approve plans for a single mayor covering Greater Lincolnshire.
The council has been told this must happen to be able to unlock more money and control from central Government.
But all the authorities in the region will have to agree - they'll vote over the coming weeks.

Police say the boy was walking along Fulbeck Road in the town when he was followed by two men on foot and three others in a black Ford Transit van.
Officers say the van was left-hand drive and the men are thought to have been "non-English".
Anyone who was in the area and saw the van is asked to call police on 101.

A Lincolnshire businessman has been jailed for running an illegal money lending business.
Lincoln Crown Court heard Samuel Bromfield provided loans for more than a hundred people and lent out a total of a £160,000.
The interest charged was usually 50 per cent - but the court heard he didn't always impose interest on money loaned to family, friends and colleagues.
Bromfield, who runs the Discount Cabs taxi firm in Grantham, admitted two charges of operating as an unauthorised money lender.
The 60 year old from North Muskham has been sent to prison for 12 months.
