    The brothers of Charlotte Hart, Luke and Ryan, issued this statement after the coroner's verdicts this morning:

    A coroner has said that a mother and daughter who were fatally shot in Spalding were unlawfully killed.

    Lance Hart, 57, used a shotgun to kill his wife Claire Hart, 50, and daughter Charlotte Hart,19, (pictured) near the Castle Swimming Pool on Pinchbeck Road in July. 

    Lance Hart then committed suicide using the gun.

    Coroner Paul Cooper described Hart's actions as "cold and chilling".

    The MP for Lincoln, Karl McCartney, has been elected by his fellow Conservative Members of Parliament to sit on the newly-created select committee to oversee the work of the Department for Exiting the European Union. 

    Last week Labour's Hilary Benn was elected to chair the cross-party committee.
