    Hope Bolger
    BBC Local Live, Lincolnshire

    Computer keyboardImage source, Getty Images

It will cover a range of community and voluntary services in the county, which support residents, families and carers.

The library of information and services will be on the internet, but support will also be available over the phone to make it as accessible as possible, the council promises.

Councillor Patricia Bradwell, executive member for adult care and community wellbeing, says there are many different sources of information but there is "a lack of coordination and no single platform where this information is available".

Councillor Bradwell says that means it is "too confusing for people to access the services they need".

    Quote Message

Providing an online information resource which can be accessed in a variety of ways is a big step forward. It will help people self-care more easily and complement some already excellent neighbourhood projects."
