    A young woman, who had her arm in a sling, was robbed in Coningsby.

    It's understood three men saw her withdrawing money from a cash machine on the afternoon of Friday 9 November.

    The men, described as being in their late 20s or early 30s, then stole the cash she'd withdrawn from her.

    A plan for 100 new houses in Crowland has been approved, two years after being refused by planning inspectors.

    In 2016, councillors said the plan did not provide enough information on whether houses could be built so close to existing businesses.

    But on appeal the applicant, Wheatley Group Developments, agreed by pay £44,000 towards health services and £15,000 towards transport in the area.

    One third of the houses at the development will be affordable, according to the plan.

    Police are at the scene and drivers in the area are being warned to expect delays.

    New traffic measures designed to control an influx of visitors to the Lincolnshire coast to see the seal pups are working, according to the local council.

    A one-way system has been introduced and visitors now have to pay £5 to park at Donna Nook.

    Alwyn Drewery, vice-chairman of North Somercotes Parish Council, says the roads were gridlocked last year and it was unsafe.

    He added it's much better now: "It all seems to have gone away now, it's all working hunky dory".

    RAF commanders say they won't take further action against an officer from Lincolnshire who starred in a pornographic film.

    It's understood the man involved is a flying instructor at RAF Cranwell, near Sleaford.

    In a statement, the Royal Air Force said the film was made more than five years ago when he was not serving and is therefore a "private life matter".

    Almost a year-long of work on Heighington Road as part of the construction of the Lincoln Eastern Bypass is beginning today.

    Engineers will start work to build a 33 metre bridge above the new bypass route.

    Councillor Richard Davies, executive member for highways, said Heighington Road will remain closed to traffic for about 11 months.

    The diversion route for the closure will be via the B1188 to Washingborough Road to Church Hill to Heighington Road, and vice versa.

    A fundraising campaign has started to help a Lincolnshire primary school replace a stolen school minibus.

    It was taken from Tealby School near Market Rasen last month.

    It was later found burnt-out in a field.

    The school used the bus for trips and has had to cancel several since the bus was destroyed.

    The school has thanked local people for starting the fundraising campaign.

    National educations awards have been won by Belton House, near Grantham, and Lincoln's International Bomber Command Centre.

    The Sandford Award, external is given to heritage sites and museums who have the best programmes for schools.

    Other winners this year include Hull's Wilberforce House and Wakefield's National Coal Mining Museum.

    Fire crews will be carrying out a major training exercise at Lincoln Cathedral this week.

    About five fire engines and 30 firefighters will be rushing to a false emergency.

    The exercise is designed to help firefighters train how to deal with a fire at the cathedral.

    Rand Farm Park could become home to a children's nursery under plans submitted to West Lindsey District Council.

    The proposals have been lodged by owner Richard Waring.

    It would see a house on the site transformed into a nursery with space for 90 children.

    The plans also include an outdoor play space and classrooms for babies, toddlers and pre-school age children.

    Witnesses are being sought by police after a motorbike was damaged at a supermarket in Lincoln.

    The bike was parked at the Asda store on Wolsey Way at lunchtime on Saturday, but when its owner returned he found it was lying damaged on the ground.

    The force is keen to speak to a woman who spoke to the owner before he parked up.

    She's described as about 40-years-old, 5ft 5ins tall with short curly hair.

    It happened at about 13:35 on Sunday at the city's bus station when a man approached another man and demanded money.

    The victim handed over £20.

    Anyone who can identify the man in the picture is being asked to contact police.

    A High Court injunction to tackle illegal traveller sites across Lincoln is to be sought by the city's council.

    If approved by the authority's executive next week, officials will apply to the High Court to gain the order.

    City of Lincoln Council has spent about £44,160 since 2015 clearing up sites such as those at Skellingthorpe playing fields, South Common and Yarborough Leisure Centre.

    Police who investigated a £12m fraud against the NHS in Lincolnshire say they're confident of recovering more than £3m from members of the organised crime gang involved.

    Twelve offenders were given jail sentences in separate cases last year.

    Lincolnshire Police has just revealed it's secured court orders to force most of them to repay some of what they stole.
