An initial report into the loss of the plane piloted by a North Lincolnshire man which killed the Premier League footballer Emiliano Sala is due to be published later.

David Ibbotson, from Crowle, was flying the plane with the footballer on board when it crashed into the English Channel near Guernsey on 21 January.

The footballer's body was recovered from the plane wreck on the seabed, but Mr Ibbotson's body has not been found.

A search for Mr Ibbotson's body is also expected to start this week, but teams say it will be technically difficult.
