Read MoreA group of mums are resurrecting a village carnival in Lincolnshire which was last held 39 years ago.
The Cliff Carnival in Navenby near Lincoln will include the traditional parade through the village which hasn't been seen since 1980.
The event's been brought back by parents with a focus on bringing the community together.
Carnival committee chair Katie Gordon said: "We wanted to hark back to the days we remember as children so resurrecting a local parade from 1980 was a great idea. We want our children to understand just how important community spirit is."
The carnival is being held on Saturday 21 September.
Police have appealed for help to locate a man after he failed to turn up to court.
Tomas Jonusaitis, 24, was due to attend Boston Magistrates' Court on Wednesday charged with causing death by dangerous driving in relation to collision in Boston in October 2018, but didn't turn up.
Lincolnshire Police have asked for anyone who has information about his whereabouts to come forward.
Punting is making a return to Belton House near Grantham for the first time in almost 100 years.
The stately home, which is run by the National Trust, welcomes thousands of visitors every year.
Managers say it's been a "long held aspiration" to introduce punting on the River Witham again.
A team of volunteers have been trained to steer the boats.
Belton House spokeswoman Julia Griffith said:" It's so relaxing, there's no noise, there's lots to see, wildlife and wildnerness. You're just relaxed and enjoying the ride."
Visitors can hire a boat for £20 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
