    Dashcam footage shows the moment a driver crashed off a bend on a country road while trying to overtake a car after a road rage incident.

    Police said Graham York, 44, had demanded another driver pull over on the B1167 French Drove near Peterborough before accelerating to 104mph (167km/h), losing control and ploughing into a field.

    York, of Backgate, Cowbit, was sentenced at Peterborough Crown Court to 12 weeks in prison for dangerous driving and disqualified for four years.

    A Briton who died after falling through glass doors in Thailand "lived life to the full", his family has said.

    Luke Goodere, 33, was staying with friends on Phi Phi island, when he tripped into the doors, which shattered, puncturing his abdomen.

    Mr Goodere, from Skegness, Lincolnshire, may have sustained his injuries tripping over a suitcase.

    A Lincolnshire coroner recorded a conclusion of accidental death after the fall, on 11 April.

    Police have released CCTV images of three men they want to trace after a woman's car was commandeered by a group of men posing as police officers.

    Humberside Police said the 68-year-old woman was driving along a country lane in Wroot, near Scunthorpe, when she saw a white Ford Luton van ramming a silver Volvo off the road.

    Three men then got out of the Volvo and flagged the woman down, saying they were police officers and got into her car.

    One of the men got behind the wheel and drove after the van while the woman was still in the vehicle.

    During the chase a firearm was allegedly discharged at her vehicle, a burgundy VW Tiguan, by someone in the van.

    The three men abandoned the car near Epworth and ran off, leaving the woman unhurt but badly shaken.

    Humberside Police has asked anyone who recognises any of the men in the images to come forward

    The force say a 44-year-old man from Hertfordshire has been arrested in connection with the incident and released under investigation.

    A motorist was seriously injured when the car they were driving crashed into a row of bollards after colliding with another vehicle.

    A black Toyota Yaris and purple Ford Fusion collided on Mill Hill, in Nettleham, at about 19:50 on Thursday.

    Lincolnshire Police said the Ford then crashed in to a row of bollards by a nearby shop and the Toyota ended up in a beck.

    The driver of the Ford suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

    The force has appealed for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.

    The last delivery of coal has been made to a power station near Gainsborough which is set to close at the end of the month.

    EDF Energy has said it is shutting the plant, in Cottam, on 30 September because of "challenging market conditions".

    Plant Manager, Andy Powell, said: "I've been coming here for 20 years and it still impresses me today as it did the first time I came here."

    Cottam provides energy for almost four million homes. All of the UK's coal fired power stations are due to close by the end of 2025.

    A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a car crash on the A15 near Waddingham.

    Lincolnshire Police said the 30-year-old man was a passenger in a car which crashed after leaving the road at about 23.30 on Thursday.

    A woman who was driving the car suffered minor injuries.

    The force said the man remains in police custody and has appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

    For the first time in more than 90 years a boat will pass through Lock 15 on Grantham Canal later today.

    It's taken three years of work to bring the former lock near Stenwith back to its former glory.

    Volunteers who were involved in the restoration will be on board to mark the official opening.

    One of those involved in the project, John Clarke, said: "It's been an interesting challenge all the way long, and I learned an awful lot."

    The canal connects Nottingham and Grantham.

    A couple who ran an overcrowded animal rescue centre and a vets have been sentenced for animal welfare charges.

    RSPCA inspectors removed more than 160 animals during a raid at 4 Paws Centre in Killingholme, North Lincolnshire in March 2018.

    Owners Jodie Fairbrother and Paul Fairbrother were given suspended jail terms and also ordered to pay £500 costs at Grimsby Magistrates' Court.

    Both were banned from keeping or trading in animals for five years.

    Jodie Fairbrother, 40, admitted six counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal. She also admitted four breaches of the duty of a person responsible for an animal to ensure its welfare.

    She was jailed for 18 weeks, suspended for 12 months.

    Paul Fairbrother, 50, admitted one charge of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal. He admitted two breaches of the duty of a person responsible for an animal to ensure its welfare.

    He was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months.
