    A transport boss says the situation with cross-Channel freight is "horrendous" for his staff.

    Peter Denby has eight lorries on the continent at present and says he's battling to get them back.

    Mr Denby - who's firm operates from Lincoln - told the BBC he's come into his offices this morning to try and work out "what's open and what isn't".

    Footballer Marcus Rashford will personally thank a Lincolnshire teacher in a BBC documentary tonight.

    Zane Powells - who works at a school in Grimsby - spent the first lockdown walking miles to make sure children still got their free school meals.

    Mr Powells - who was made an MBE earlier this year - told the BBC he feels proud to be recognised by the footballer who started a campaign around free school meals.

    Construction work has started on the second phase of Lincoln's Science and Innovation Park.

    It's hoped the £3m building on the edge of the University of Lincoln campus will attract new high-tech companies.

    It will also allow existing tenants to expand, such as cybersecurity firm Kryptokloud - which produces cyber security products for education.
